PEEKER

Your files stay close.

This notice explains what Peeker handles in the app, on peeker.site, and during purchases. Have qualified counsel review this policy with your business identity and local requirements before launch.

The Peeker app

Peeker keeps its recent-file metadata cache, working folders, workspaces, Handoff queue, and preferences on your Mac. It does not upload file names, file paths, file contents, or Quick Look previews during ordinary use.

The app contacts Peeker only to activate and periodically validate a license and to check for signed software updates. Those requests include the information needed for licensing, not your indexed files.

Purchases and licensing

Our payment provider processes your email address, payment, invoice, license, and entitlement information. We retain the records needed to deliver the app, prevent fraud, provide support, maintain license activations, and meet legal obligations. License keys are stored as cryptographic hashes in our database.

Feedback and support

Feedback posts and screenshots are public. Do not publish private, confidential, or copyrighted information without permission. Support messages are used to answer your request and operate the product.

Your choices

You can remove local Peeker data by deleting the app’s Application Support data and Keychain entry. To ask about purchase or website information, contact support@peeker.site from your purchase email. We may update this notice as the product changes.
